Andustar Naxxar relaxes in the warm Portuguese sun.

Welcome to Andustar Kennels, a premier breeding and training facility nestled in the picturesque countryside of Castro Marim, Portugal. Andustar was founded in 2008 with the mission to breed and raise superior sighthounds of excellent health and temperament.

While our dogs excel primarily in lure coursing and conformation events, they are suited to a variety of other activities as well, including agility, obedience and rally-o, and tracking. Our dogs are also champion snugglers and wonderful, loving companions for the entire family.

Andustar was host to it's first CDS show of 2010, the CDS Portugal: 2010 Festa do Março. We had a fantastic turnout and had the pleasure of seeing a lot of old faces as well as meeting many new ones. Andustar would like to congratulate Bastian von Amurante, the handsome Rottweiler bred and owned by Nikki of Amurante Kennel, who took home best in show. We'd also like to congratulate IbCh. Romanorum from Sirannon Kennels on taking home yet another Best of Breed win and Sirannon's Tanden's Loriela for her Winner's Bitch win. Our own dogs performed quite well with Andustar Vénea named Winner's Bitch, Khonsu and Andustar Ristar named Winner's Dog, and Andustar Thaleia, Andustar Calien, and Andustar Trezza earning Best of Breed placings.

After a few months off are dogs got back into the swing of things by participating in the MWK Frosty Field Hunt Tests on February 18th. The dogs were so excited to get out and run! We'd like to congratulate Khonsu, Wandering Child, Andustar Pyrrhos, Andustar Ristar, Infamous Love, and Andustar Thaleia on passing their Junior Courser test and Andustar Toron, Andustar Illisse, Andustar Calien, Andustar Trezza, Andustar Xandru, Andustar Naxxar, and Andustar Vénea on passing their Senior Courser Test! It was an excellent day for Andustar Kennels.
